क्रिस्टीना बेकर ने सवाल के जवाब में कहा' 'में अपने माता पिता से बात शुरू करती हूँ। उन्होंने मुझसे कहा कि तुम इमरान खान से शादी नहीं कर रही तो उसका धर्म क्यों अपनाना चाहती हो? तो मैंने जवाब में कहा कि देखिए! आप धर्म का फैसला किसी दूसरे को नहीं देख सकते। आप को गहराई में देखना पड़ता है। मैंने इस्लाम इमरान खान की वजह से नहीं अपनाया, इमरान ने तो बस इस्लाम का परिचय करवाया था।
